This page covers the PassRig Android app and the early-access list on this website. Plain words, no surprises.

The PassRig app

Your answers, your progress, your state, your test date and your settings are stored only on your phone. The app has no account, no sign-up and no analytics, and it works offline. Settings has a "Reset progress" button that deletes all of it.

The one thing that leaves the phone is the subscription. When you open the plans screen or buy PassRig Pro, the app sends a random install ID (not your name or email) to RevenueCat, the service that checks whether your subscription is active, and Google Play tells it what you bought. Google Play handles the payment itself; the app never sees card numbers. That install ID is shown at the bottom of Settings. To have the subscription records deleted, email us that ID. Cancelling is done in Google Play and takes effect at the end of the paid period.

The early-access list

What we store

When you sign up we store your email address, your name if you gave one, the state you picked, your test date if you gave one, the time you signed up, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address. We cannot turn the hash back into your address; it only lets us stop one connection from flooding the list.

Why we store it

To tell you when PassRig is ready and to send you early access. Your state and test date help us get the right questions ready first. Nothing else.

Who sees it

Only the people building PassRig. We do not sell the list, share it with advertisers, or hand it to a third-party email service. It sits in our own database.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. Google Analytics sets a cookie and records pages viewed, rough location and the type of device, with the internet address shortened. We do not run ad pixels and we do not use this data to show you ads. You can block it with a browser setting or extension that refuses analytics cookies. Standard server logs may keep your internet address for a short time to keep the site running safely.

How to be removed

Email hello@passrig.com from the address you signed up with and say "remove me". We delete your row within 7 days and confirm by reply.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we email the list before the change takes effect.
